Como eu não posto desde dezembro, e para mostrar que não abandonei o blog, só não tive saco pra ficar escrevendo aqui, eu vou ter que fazer outro post sem muito conteúdo.

A propósito, eu cansei de falar sobre lockerz, não irão mais ter posts sobre essa merda, é uma coisa tão viral, os abutres enchem muito o saco, TALVEZ eu pense em responder algumas perguntas, talvez. Bando de vagabundo que não sabe se informar direito.

(PT-BR) Breaking Benjamin

Formado em 1998 pelo vocalista Benjamin Burnley e o bateirista Jeremy Hummel, o Breaking Benjamin rapidamente tornou-se famoso na cidade. No ano seguinte mudaram o seu nome para Plan 9. Mais tarde, em 2000, após várias modificações, eles mudaram para o nome inicial, Breaking Benjamin. No mesmo ano, dois amigos de Burnley, Aaron Fink e Mark Klepaski, deixaram as suas bandas para se juntar à banda como guitarrista e baixista, respectivamente. Ela chamou atenção quando apareceu na MTV como cover, resultando em um acordo com a Universal Records.

So Cold

Mudaram-se para a Hollywood Records em 2001 após o sucesso de um EP independente, Breaking Benjamin EP, que vendeu duas mil cópias. Depois lançaram o seu álbum principal, Saturate, em 27 de Agosto de 2002. A primeira faixa do álbum, “Polyamorous”, tocou muito nas rádios, antes de alcançar grandes audiências. “Skin” também foi lançada, mas não fez tanto sucesso como a canção anterior. O álbum vendeu então apenas 300 mil cópias.

Sooner or Later

Então, em 29 de Julho de 2004, Breaking Benjamin lançou o seu maior álbum, We Are Not Alone.

Breaking Benjamin é praticamente não conhecida no Brasil, até onde sei só fizeram shows nos USA e talvez no Canadá… Mas… Devo estar errado, o Pedro deve saber mais.

Uma banda simplesmente magnífica, e encanta a todos aqueles que escutam, lógico, os que têm bom gosto, o resto… O resto é o resto.
